Design summary: The style is one of warm, understated sophistication. The colour palette is desaturated and mellow, with a few well chosen accents. Finishes will include warm brushed brass and black metal, sleek marble (or similar) and inviting real wood, each balancing the other to elevate the charm of a heritage interior to one of modern luxury, with a splash of elegant urban chic.

It was a relief to have someone I could totally trust on my side to bring the discussions we had to life with little work on my part made this element of the move a completely seamless experience. The design definitely would not have happened to the standard it is without Steph.”

From the client: Our bridal shop was moving premises to a new space, that was of a similar size but with a more more challenging layout. The space, although within a listed building, had been used as office space, so we had the challenge of creating an elegant and chic bridal experience against the existing backdrop of carpet tiles and fluorescents!

We also had a short time frame in which to move and transform the space with minimal disruption for our brides. I needed help to create a scheme that had an intuitive flow for both staff and clients, and was also a tranquil space with a twist on the traditional Bridal shop.

Steph provided calm and clear directives meaning I had all the information when I needed it at my fingertips. Moving is never a fun time but it definitely reduced a huge part of the stress. We now have a relaxing welcoming space that I am proud to show each client.

What we did:

  • Synthesised Jess’ vision into a design statement and concept board. This acts as a foundation point for the project and is useful to ensure we have interpreted the client vision correctly!

  • Produced scaled, technical drawings of the space to enable us to accurately position furniture.

  • Produced a scaled, technical drawing for the re-design of an existing desk into a chic bar for greeting guests.

  • Created a mood-board to bring to life colour palette and finishes.

  • Delivered a shoppable furniture and accessories list for Jess to complete the scheme remotely.
